Andy Altemus notched his 4th career victory on the MNGA tour in the 2007 season opening Chrysler Lebaron Championship by shooting 1 over par. Altemus came back from down 3 strokes with 4 holes to play to take a 2 stroke win over Mike Podolinski and Mark Billotti who finished at 2 over par. All three golfers gained valuable ground in the season long MNGA Cup points race all leading up to the season ending Tour Championship. Altemus received 10 points. Billotti and Podolinski received 7 points each.

With their respective finishes in the season ending Jimmy Neal Holiday Classic, Jared Ramsey and Andy Altemus will share the title for Co-Players of the Year.

Todd Riggs will take home the Doug Goodwin Award. Sorry. Better luck next year.

THE JIMMY NEAL HOLIDAY CLASSIC

Jared Ramsey won the 2006 season ending Jimmy Neal Holiday Classic at Lakeview Resort in front of the biggest crowd in MNGA history.

Mark Billotti finished second, 2 strokes behind Ramsey. Andy Altemus finished 3rd after losing a 3 stroke lead on the field with 5 holes to play. Mike Podolinski finished 4th with a strong push at the end and Todd Riggs gets the Doug Goodwin Award for coming in last with a DNF.

Ramsey also won the "Gary" Player of the Night Cup and will retain the Cup until 2007 when it will be up for grabs again in the MNGA Dave Baird International Kickoff Challenge.
